At a recent meeting of the Lachlan Regional Transport Committee it was bought to the meetings attention that the Lachlan Valley Rail were endeavoring to open and operate the Cowra to Holmwood rail line for tourism purposes with their steam and diesel trains as their main depot is based in Cowra. 

The Lachlan Regional Transport Committee is fully supportive of the idea to promote the reopening of the Cowra to Holmwood rail line and possibly on to Woodstock for tourism in the Cowra area. This venture would prove to be an invaluable asset for the whole Blayney and Cowra districts. 

If there is any help you may be able to do for the Lachlan Valley Rail it would very much appreciated.
